What is Sensitivity Training?

‘Sensitivity Training’ refers to a specific kind of training imparted to make the trainees more sensitive towards others including their peers, superiors as well as their juniors. It is usually imparted using a T-group or encounter group sessions.

German psychologist Kurt Lewin is commonly considered as the founder of sensitivity training as he was the one who engineered the experiments of the Conneticut State Interracial Commision in 1946.
