Learning Management Systems

What is Learning Management Systems ?

‘Learning Management Systems’ refers to a system of training and development meant for the employees of an organization. Also referred to as the LMS, it consists of various modules which help the HR to allocate specific training for specific employees, track their sessions, generate a report of their progress as well as evaluate them and provide feedback.

Modern LMS are usually cloud-based due to the increased convenience of being able to access it from anywhere and using a web browser to view the content. However, depending on the size and complexity of the organization, the complexity of the LMS also varies greatly.

Nowadays, due to the increased accessibility of the internet via smartphones, modern LMS are also integrating new technologies like augmented reality and smart chatbots to make training fun for the employee.
