Artificial Intelligence

What is Artificial Intelligence?

‘Artificial Intelligence’ is the intelligence shown by machines and programs that mimic the natural thinking of human beings to fulfill their goals and simulate learning and problem-solving.

The major differentiating factor of artificial intelligence compared to human beings is the lack of emotions which help it to arrive at unbiased conclusions. This rational approach has multiple benefits when it is applied ethically in the field of human resources.

For example, AI can be used in hiring to prevent the subconscious bias a human recruiter might harbour towards a specific sect of humans. Similarly, AI would be able to comb through large data sets of candidates to find the perfect person for any kind of job position.
