Candidate Experience

What is Candidate Experience ?

The ‘Candidate Experience’ refers to the overall experience of the candidate with a company, especially related to the recruitment process. It also involves the resulting thoughts the candidate would have after the process is complete.

It is especially relevant as the resulting thoughts eventually shape the company’s perception in the minds of the candidates which will influence whether they take up the job or apply later in case they are rejected this time.

Candidate experience is very important for any company as it affects the way both candidates, as well as consumers, view the company. The candidate’s experience would dictate how he or she views the company which will eventually spread via word of mouth.
