Coaching

What is Coaching?

‘Coaching’ is the process of helping an individual or a group of individuals improve themselves. It might be conducted either for improving existing skills or for learning new skills.

In the case of an organization, coaching usually focuses on improving the organization’s efficiency as well as improving one’s professional and personal life. Generally speaking, coaching is conducted for training newer personnel and staff members.

Coaching might also be undertaken with existing trainers employed within the organization or provided by a third party. However, in both cases, the final aim is to improve the overall efficiency of the company.

When freshers join a company, it is common nowadays to conduct training to make sure that they are aware of the company culture and the way business is conducted. Similarly, some companies might also coach newly employed workers on the technical skills required to perform their duties well.
