Social Networking

What is Social Networking?

‘Social Networking’ is the act of forming and maintaining social relationships. It is mostly used to build relationships with like-minded individuals. However, businesses these days are concentrating more on social networking since networking is one of the key factors in the success of a business.

Social networking might also refer to the online social relationships that one can form online with like-minded individuals. With the advent of specialized online platforms in the form of social media, even multi-national corporations have started advertising themselves on social media with their own dedicated pages where they engage with their consumers and customers.

Companies are also using the modern cloud-based HRMS with inbuilt social networking features to engage with their employees and help them by sharing knowledge and information.
