Central Form F - Nomination for Gratuity

Central Form F is a form format to nominate the beneficiaries for Gratuity. Suppose you are a salaried individual; nominating the right beneficiaries for the gratuity proceeds is vital.

Under the Gratuity Act 1972, Gratuity is given to those who leave the workplace after finishing five years of service. In case the salaried candidate is absent, the amount will be paid to the beneficiaries irrespective of whether or not the five years are finished.

Who sends the Central Form F?

An organisation usually sends Form F; when it is dispatched, the candidate receives automated information mail of Form filling instructions, submitting all the lists of desired documents and required government proofs, and more.

Who will be applicable for Form F?

Employees who have finished one year of service in one company can fill out this Form.

What is the purpose of filling Form?

Nominate the right beneficiary for the Gratuity payment if the employee cannot accept his gratuity money. The employee needs to get a copy of the acknowledgement from the employer.

P.S- Just relatives can be nominated as beneficiaries under the Act. But in an exceptional case, if one has no relatives, any Indian resident can be selected as a beneficiary.
